Hospital Distrito Capacha

At the foot of the volcano and next to the sports complex, this hospital is conceived as a place of healing and encounter between technology and human care.

Divided into two buildings, one for consultation and the other for surgery and hospitalization, the complex is organized around a large esplanade that welcomes the user and accompanies him on his journey.

The upper levels of the hospital building open onto interior courtyards that illuminate and serenade the rooms, and are visible from the outside as part of the language of the complex.

The consultation building looks out candidly to the volcano to the north and the city to the south, connecting medical care to the landscape.

A hospital that is a symbol of well-being for the community of Colima. An architecture at the service of life, with its eyes always open to the horizon.
